Strengthening the attractiveness of the place while paying homage to its history... Saint-Eloy-les-Mines wanted to transform and revitalize its heart of the city. The development concepts were guided by three objectives:
Seek the creation of “easy” spaces for all
Compose plural spaces capable of responding to expectations and developments
Offering a contemporary image in the germ is at the heart of the history of the municipality
Naturally lighting also relies on these objectives. The choice of furniture is intended to be as effective as possible to limit its impact on the geometries of the composition and give free rein to human movements. The design of the columns and in particular the openwork draws its genesis from the heart of mining heritage, drawing inspiration from the metallic architecture of the knight of the St Joseph well. The color of the luminous objects is inspired by coal, formerly extracted from the soil of the town. Finally, the chromatic variations of the columns enliven the “volume” of the two squares and play with the sparkle of the floor coverings. In a few words we could say that we sought the greatest variety of effects with the greatest economy of gestures.
