The basic idea of the requalification of Place Jean Jaurès was to open up the access space to the Republic shopping street while securing this central point of the city. This new development composed around century-old plane trees opens the space to pedestrians. Squares, kiosk and café terraces are now marked with discreet Smart Jalousie lights during the day and illuminated in the evening. Their blue-tinted backlighting diffuses a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy summer evenings.
